Photographs of actual patients may be an important method to evaluate
the experience and results of a facial plastic surgeon. Patients
should look for a wide variation in the problems addressed in the
photos, and be critical of the results shown. Try to assess if the
surgeon’s
aesthetic sense is consistent with your own.
Bear in mind that most surgeons will be displaying a sample of their
best results. During a consultation you should inquire about a surgeon’s
experience and training. You should expect complete and detailed
answers.
