Meet Dr. Weinstein

Board certified in Ob-Gyn in 1979, Dr. Franklin Weinstein initially practiced obstetrics and gynecology, but in the early 1990's, I decided to pursue something new. I moved into hair restoration surgery, and now head the Weinstein Medical Center for Hair Restoration, a practice dedicated to hair restoration surgery, where I average between 15 and 20 procedures each month. I do not offer a menu of cosmetic services.

My center just does hair transplants. Period. A native of Mexico, I attended medical school there and completed my surgical training at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. My continuing education includes meetings and seminars of the International Society of Hair Restoration and attending conferences on plastic surgery and emergency procedures. I also teach dermatology residents from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins in hair restoration surgery. But mostly, I enjoy caring for my patients. It's important to take responsibility for the privilege my patients provide by trusting me with their cosmetic needs.
