Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown provide Restylane® injections for patients in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Annapolis and the surrounding areas of Maryland, who want to enjoy the benefits of the best-selling dermal filler in the world.
What Is Restylane®?
There’s a reason why Restylane® is the best-selling dermal filler in the world. Restylane® helps to restore moisture to your skin, and it helps the skin on the body and face to have a more youthful fullness. Restylane® can add volume to your face if you’re experiencing wrinkles, severe facial folds or marionette lines (the creases located around the corners of your mouth). As we age, these lines, also known as nasolabial folds, are more likely to appear. Restylane® leverages the benefits of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your skin and can help to keep the moisture inside your skin as it boosts your skin with a smoother, more youthful complexion.
Benefits of Restylane®
The main benefit of Restylane® is the dramatic reduction of wrinkles and skin folds that will be visible after your very first treatment. At the Facial Plastic Surgicenter our patients rave about the results, they see in the mirror after just their very first Restylane® treatment. Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown are highly skilled injectors and perform all injections themselves. Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown recommend Restylane® for those patients who would like:
- Softer and younger looking skin
- Less scarring from acne or injuries
- Fuller skin around the mouth and eyes
How Is Restylane® Administered?
Restylane® is injected into your skin directly near any folds or creases using a very fine needle. Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown may massage around the area where the injection was administered to optimize contouring results. Your Restylane® treatment with Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown is convenient, simple and offers great results immediately.
Preparing for Restylane®
Your Restylane® treatment with Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown will only last for about 30 minutes to an hour. There is no special preparation required. You may go back to your normal activities immediately following your Restylane® treatment procedure.
Because this is a minimally invasive treatment that only uses a very small needle, patients who undergo Restylane® treatment require no downtime. There are some mild symptoms that patients may possibly experience after the procedure, such as numbness or bruising. *However, after three days these will have all faded. *Your Restylane® treatment results can last for up to six months.
Are Restylane® Injections Right for Me?
Restylane® injections are used by Dr. Papel, Dr. Kontis, and Dr. Brown on the lips, chin and cheeks. This treatment is effective for reducing wrinkles, creases, and folds seen on your face. It is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
